Working with animals is incredibly rewarding, but often hard work in tough Northern Territory conditions.

It can be a competitive field to get into, so building experience through volunteering is an excellent way to get ahead of the crowd when roles do become available.

RSPCA Darwin is a small team who love their jobs, and regularly stay in the role for some time. Roles become available rarely, but keep your eyes on our facebook page for updates. If there is not a role available that suits your skills, please feel free to send a CV to reception@rspcant.org.au for us to keep on file in the case of casual vacancies becoming available. As a general rule, prior experience with animals is regarded very highly.
